30. Ribbon


I chose this picture for ribbon because the ribbon was really pretty that was hanging off my birthday balloons. I cast a shadow on the picture and made the colors bolder by adding highlights to it.

35. Phone


I chose this picture for phone because Lucas is on the phone. Our phone in the kitchen is antiquey looking, so I put the picture in black and white to give it an old timey feeling. I also put a glow on the picture to make it brighter.

32. Shoes


I chose this picture for shoes because these are currently my favorite pair of shoes! I placed them on tan carpet, so the shoes would go with the color of the carpet. I put a glow on the shoes, and darkened the entire picture to make the colors appear bolder in the shoes.

34. Candy


I chose this picture for candy because there's a whole bunch of reeses in the basket! I changed the colors to bolder colors to make the candy stand out more. I also put highlights on the picture, and cast a shadow on it.

10. Boots


I chose this picture for boots because these are my favorite pair of boots, my pink Ariats! I changed the colors in the picture to make it look more rustic since cowboy boots have a rustic look. I also darkened the picture to make the boots stand out more, and I put a glow on the boots.

Valentine's Day












37. Kindness


I chose this picture for kindness because the men showed kindess on the streets of New Orleans by singing a song for Jamie. Using Picasa, I highlighted the picture and cast shadows on it.

36. Faith


I chose this picture to represent faith because when I think of faith, I think of the Bible.  Using Picasa, I put a soft focus on the Bible and changed the colors of the picture to warmer colors.

30. Art


I chose this picture to represent art because I painted this wall for the senior handprints.  Using Picasa, I put a lot of highlights on the picture and added a soft focus to focus in on the big splatter.

20. Family


I chose this picture to represent family because this is a picture of my two nephews and my niece.  Using Picasa, I put a soft focus on the three, changed the colors in the picture to warmer colors, and cast shadows on the picture.

19. Light


I chose this picture to represent light because the sun always cast light on things. Using Picasa, I darkened the entire picture to make the sun appear brighter and also changed the saturation of the colors in the picture to appear paler.

14. Spring


I chose this picture to represent spring because flowers already remind me of spring, and Alexis has a springy looking dress on. Using Picasa, I changed the colors in the picture to warmer colors, and also added highlights.

6. Romance


I chose this picture to represent romance because while walking down Bourbon Street in New Orleans, we saw this gay guy dancing "romantically" in his underwear on top of a bar table. Using Picasa, I put a grainy effect on the picture and also added highlights.

40. Letters


I chose this picture for letters because this guy has his name on his belt. Using Picasa, I darkened the picture and put a soft focus on the picture to make the letters stand out more.

38. Movement


I chose this picture for movement because this creep that I call my friend was running across the gym one day in her vampire getup. Using Picasa, I changed the saturation of the picture because the paler colors fit more with the creepiness of this girl.

I chose this picture for work because it proved that the boys "did work" at the dome by winning in the semi finals by that much. Using Picasa, I cropped the original picture so the score would be easier to see, and I highlighted the picture as far as it could go.

34. Friend


I chose this picture to represent friends because these boys have been close since they were born. Using Picasa, I highlighted the picture since it was outside to make it appear sunnier and also put a glow on the boys' faces.

32. Eyes


I chose this picture to represent eyes because the face is pale, and the eyes are dark, making the eyes pop out a lot. Using Picasa, I cropped the original picture to make only the eyes pop out. I highlighted the picture to make it look creepier and cast shadows to make the eyes look darker.

I chose this picture to represent smiles because it shows two of my favorite girls smiling big because they're proud of their kitties. Using Picasa, I changed the saturation of the picture to make it appear more faded and also put highlights on the girls' faces.

I chose headphones to represent music because you listen to music with them. Using Picasa, I cast shadows on the headphones and brightened the picture up a bit.

I chose a closeup picture of a basket to represent texture because it had a cool texture to it.  Using Picasa, I made the picture a lot darker and added many highlights to make the colors appear different on the basket.

I chose this picture to represent after because the sign wasn't ripped until after Nick ran through it.  Using Picasa, I changed the picture to have a more yellow look to it and put highlights on it.

I chose this picture for gathering because the football boys are all huddled up in a little group, celebrating their state championship.  Using Picasa, I cast shadows on the boys and also added many highlights.

I chose this picture to represent tools because it is a picture of many tools you would need in the kitchen.  Using Picasa, I cast shadows on the picture.

I chose this picture to represent kitchen because it is a picture of my kitchen. Using Picasa, I changed the saturation of the picture to very pale colors to give it more of a faded look and also added shadows.

I chose this picture to represent spice because these are a few spices that are found in my spice drawer at my house. Using Picasa, I highlighted the picture a lot to make the colors stand out in the spices.

I chose a clock to represent time because clocks tell time. Using Picasa, I changed the colors of the picture to warmer colors, and cast shadows on the clock.

I chose this picture to represent father because it is a picture of my brother and his daughter, Alexis. Using Picasa, I changed the picture to a sepia tone, and darkened the background behind them.

When I was in New Orleans, this little boy was dancing on the sidewalk to music, "swinging" his shirt around while he danced.  Using Picasa, I made the picture black and white and added a filmy grain to it.

I chose this picture for up because Betsy poofed her hair to have the "Snooki" effect, and it is clearly "up". Using Picasa, I put a glow on the picture and put shadows on it.

I chose this picture for fool because Jordan looks like a fool in his redneck getup. Using Picasa, I made the colors in the picture warmer and changed the saturation.

I chose this picture for cold because it is clearly winter outside, and my dad is all bundled up for the cold weather.  Using Picasa, I added many highlights to make obvious the whiteout from the snow.

I chose this picture for mother because it shows my cousin and her baby boy. Using Picasa, I put highlights on the picture and added a soft focus on the two, focusing the attention on them.

I chose this picture for growth because Libby's hair magically grew because someone put a pop bottle inside her hair. Using Picasa, I put a lot of highlights on the picture and also a glow.

I chose this picture for underneath because Slappy Cat is underneath the table. Using Picasa, I changed the saturation of the picture because Slappy Cat was putting a glare on the picture.  I also darkened the picture.

I chose this picture for home because it shows the senior boys carrying in the championship trophy back "home" to our school. Using Picasa, I put a graduated blue tint on the picture and also changed the saturation of the colors in the picture to paler colors.

I chose this picture for tired because I thought it was super cute of my niece and Tara taking a little cat nap together.  I put a glow on the picture and also cast shadows on their faces using Picasa.

I chose this picture for macro because Betsy's face is enlarged when looking through the little plexy thing. I used Picasa to edit this picture. I darkened the picture to make the main focus pop out more, which is her face.
